Monica Sather has been practicing immigration law since 2003, almost exclusively in the
area of employment-based immigration. During that time, she has represented
Fortune 500 clients and start-ups alike, including in the healthcare, biotech, automotive,
semiconductor, online media, advertising, and finance industries. She represents clients
on immigrant and nonimmigrant matters, as well as compliance issues. Monica has also
worked for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services as a Policy Analyst, and as a Law
Clerk for the Attorney General’s Honor Program at the immigration court in Oakdale,
Louisiana.
Monica is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law, where she earned her J.D.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-
Madison, and her Master’s degree from the University of Toronto, Canada.
Prior to attending law school, Monica served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco,
North Africa.
